I love to answer any Lush related questions particularly ones that I find to be really important. Sure we've all wondered what a Lush Kitchen product smells like and ask each other about these things - I've done it myself. Yesterday I was asked by a new Lushie what Lush products don't have perfume in them. She explained she had really sensitive skin and was allergic to 'fragrance' (aka perfume) in any product.
Admittedly, I didn't know the answer to this. I made it a top priority to get to the bottom of this for the girl and I decided to list it as a page too. I'm well aware there are tonnes of people out there who have questions but never ask them.

If I'm honest I didn't realise perfume was in almost all of Lush's products. Not that this is a bad thing but it does present limitations (clearly).
Please double check with your local lush on anything you are uncertain of. This page is to help provide advice and guidance, but I've not received the training Lush employees have. The products listed above are listed without perfume on Lush's official website, which has the information freely available - which was used to help support this page.
But always remember to double check with your store where possible if you are in doubt! Or leave me a comment with your question here or on Instagram and I will do my best to get the answer for you.
I LOVE lush but I have the same problem as your friend - I am allergic to fragrance so I can hardly use any Lush products. It would be great if you can make more fragrance-free stuff and thank you for this article
ReplyDeleteangels on bare skin contain lavender oil though which is one the most fragranced essential oils so DO NOT buy that if you have a perfume/fragrance allergy
ReplyDeleteAll of those products have fragrance, whether it be a component of frangrance (linalool, citranool etc) or any number of botanical extracts and oils.
ReplyDeleteif you like to look into Lush's fragrance problems, I highly recommend to watch Hyram's YT video "The Truth About Lush Cosmetics"!
ReplyDeleteAll of these have fragrance though... I second watching Skincare by Hyram's video "The Truth About Lush Cosmetics." Essential oils are just as bad as fragrance for sensitive skin/those with allergies. I'm sad that I won't be buying any skincare from Lush until they put out a completely fragrance/essential oil free line.
ReplyDeleteSome of these are discontinued or now contain perfume. I made an up to date list of everything i could find that's 100% natural:
ReplyDelete. Rouge Henna - Henna Hair Colour
. Brun Henna - Henna Hair Colour
. Marron Henna - Henna Hair Colour
. Noir Henna - Henna Hair Colour
. Therapy¿ - Massage Bar (100% ORGANIC!)
. Wiccy Magic Muscles - Massage bar
. Each Peach (And Two's A Pair) - Massage bar
. Angels On Bare Skin - Fresh Cleanser
. Sleepy Face - Naked Cleansing Balm
. Ultraplant - Facial Cleanser
. Tea Totaler - Naked Cleansing Balm
. Lip Service - Lip Balm
. Cosmetic Warrior - Fresh Face Mask
. Mask Of Magnaminty Self-Preserving - Face And Body Mask
Then these ones are almost all natural:
. Don't look at me - Fresh face mask is all natural aside from 'Colour 42090'
. T For Toes - Foot Powder has sodium bicarbonate
Anyone have a list of the products with fragrance listed in green? Those are natural fragrance products instead of safe synthetics.
